Te Takarangi provides an environment where natural curiosity and imagination lead to exploration and discovery for akonga/learners of all ages.
Located on the Purerua Peninsula, 15 minutes Northeast of Kerikeri. We are connected to the village at Te Tii and we honour the historical linkages and the wāhi tapu (important places ) of the local hapu of Ngāti Rehia and Ngāti Torehina.
Tamariki come to us from across all of Kerikeri and surrounds. We enrol children in Years 1 to 8.
Our aim for akonga/learners is to support personal growth, natural curiosity and both cultural and global competency within and beyond our caring, whanau-orientated atmosphere.
Our school vision is for 'Unity and peace through learning and growing together'.
Our mission 'A vibrant learning community, built on shared values and positive reciprocal relationships, supporting equitable opportunity and a sense of belonging, while nurturing the unique life spirit of each person.'.
